Alpha Kappa Upsilon Chapter

Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honor Society. The society’s primary purpose is to honor the excellence of students in the fields of English Literature, English education and Professional Writing. With over 600 active chapters, it is one of the largest members of the Association of College Honor Societies.

The Alpha Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta is the local chapter here at Columbus State University. Originally chartered in 2002, the Alpha Kappa Upsilon chapter is young, but growing and expanding every day. Our goal is to encourage scholastic achievement in the study of English and to foster growth and interest in English and related subjects on campus and in the community.
