Staff Council Cougar Pride Award
Announcing An Opportunity to Recognize Exceptional Staff
Employees and Coworkers
Introducing the Staff Council Cougar Pride Award….
Beginning with the first calendar quarter of 2004, employees
may be nominated and awards will be presented for each calendar
quarter of the year. The award will be presented in the month
following each calendar quarter, with the first presentation, for
Quarter 1 of 2004, being made in April of 2004.
This quarterly award is designed to recognize staff employees
who excel in the following:
- Consistent demonstration of excellent job performance to
include dedication to work ethic; and demonstrated methods of
improving efficiency in the workplace, as well as other examples
of excellence.
- Commitment to CSU’s mission and values.
- Demonstrated teamwork and exemplary working relationships
with supervisors and peers.
- Exceptional attitude and performance in serving the needs of
students, staff, faculty and visitors.
- Any other criteria offered by the nominator that reflects the
performance of the nominee and meets the goals and objectives of
the university.
Anyone can nominate a staff member, and all staff members who have
been employed for 6 months or more are eligible. Nominations will
be reviewed by the Staff Council Cougar Pride Award Committee and
the selected recipient will be recognized in a number of ways, to
include a parking space, a gift card and campus dining passes for
two. Nomination forms are available in Human Resources or the
Staff Council Website. Please take the time to consider nominating
an exceptional, deserving employee. Nominations received by April
5 will be considered for the 1st quarter Cougar Pride Award.
