General Requirements:

● High ethical and moral standards

● Matriculation as a full-time student

● Completion of at least one successful grading period as a full-time student

● The cumulative average of a C+ and a semester average of C+ prior to submitting an application

Membership Intake Process (MIP):

Alpha Kappa Alpha’s official undergraduate Membership Intake Process (MIP) begins with a Rush.

The rush will be publicized for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event.

THERE IS NO PLEDGING!

MIP activities in the name of the sorority prior to Rush ARE PROHIBITED!

Attendance at the official Rush.

Good standing with the university.

An application sent to the Student Life Office.
